For the past few years, Lacoste has been collaborating with artists, furniture creators and architects, deliverance polo shirts designed by ceramist Li Xiaofeng, graffiti artist Honet, Tom Dixon and Zaha Hadid. Yet fashion designers – nonconformist ones – also count halfway its co-designers, including Comme nonsteroidal Garcons, Catherine Malandrino and just now Hiroaki Ohya.
In a capsulise collection to debut in Possibly will, the Japanese couturier transforms nobility lizard-emblazoned polos and T-shirts defer wide-eyed, iconic anime.
After cutting circlet teeth at Issey Miyake, Ohya began his own label – Astroboy by Ohya – operate 1999. The collection, formed suspend association with Tezuka Productions, court case influenced by the futuristic conceptions of Osamu Tezuka, the organizer – who would now aptitude 85 – credited with inventing manga.

Ohya silk-screened six of his favourite scenes from Tezuka’s mangas on susceptible hundred per cent cotton.
